傍晚經文
人的靈是耶和華的燈、鑒察人的心腹。
他們還是不住的問他、耶穌就直起腰來、對他們說、你們中間誰是沒有罪的、誰就可以先拿石頭打他．他們聽見這話、就從老到少一個一個的都出去了．只剩下耶穌一人、還有那婦人仍然站在當中。
耶和華說、誰告訴你赤身露體呢、莫非你喫了我吩咐你不可喫的那樹上的果子麼。
人若知道行善、卻不去行、這就是他的罪了。 - 我們的心若責備我們、神比我們的心大、一切事沒有不知道的。親愛的弟兄阿、我們的心若不責備我們、就可以向神坦然無懼了．
不可因食物毀壞神的工程．凡物固然潔淨、但有人因食物叫人跌倒、就是他的罪了。你有信心、就當在神面前守著。人在自己以為可行的事上、能不自責、就有福了。
神阿、求你鑒察我、知道我的心思、試煉我、知道我的意念．看在我裡面有甚麼惡行沒有、引導我走永生的道路。

Evening Scripture
The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man it searches out his inmost being.
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. - whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
