傍晚經文
小子們哪、你們要住在主裡面．這樣、他若顯現、我們就可以坦然無懼．當他來的時候、在他面前也不至於慚愧。
只要憑著信心求、一點不疑惑．因為那疑惑的人、就像海中的波浪、被風吹動翻騰。這樣的人、不要想從主那裡得甚麼．心懷二意的人、在他一切所行的路上、都沒有定見。
我希奇你們這麼快離開那藉著基督之恩召你們的、去從別的福音．那並不是福音、不過有些人攪擾你們、要把基督的福音更改了。但無論是我們、是天上來的使者、若傳福音給你們、與我們所傳給你們的不同、他就應當被咒詛。
你們這要靠律法稱義的、是與基督隔絕、從恩典中墜落了。你們向來跑得好．有誰攔阻你們、叫你們不順從真理呢。
你們要常在我裡面、我也常在你們裡面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上、自己就不能結果子．你們若不常在我裡面、也是這樣。你們若常在我裡面、我的話也常在你們裡面、凡你們所願意的、祈求就給你們成就。 - 神的應許、不論有多少、在基督都是是的．所以藉著他也都是實在的、〔實在原文作阿們〕叫神因我們得榮耀。

Evening Scripture
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel--which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. - For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
