早上經文
於是起來往他父親那裡去。相離還遠、他父親看見、就動了慈心、跑去抱著他的頸項、連連與他親嘴。
耶和華有憐憫、有恩典、不輕易發怒、且有豐盛的慈愛。他不長久責備、也不永遠懷怒。他沒有按我們的罪過待我們、也沒有照我們的罪孽報應我們。天離地何等的高、他的慈愛向敬畏他的人、也是何等的大。東離西有多遠、他叫我們的過犯、離我們也有多遠。父親怎樣憐恤他的兒女、耶和華也怎樣憐恤敬畏他的人。
你們所受的不是奴僕的心、仍舊害怕．所受的乃是兒子心、因此我們呼叫阿爸、父。聖靈與我們的心同證我們是神的兒女． - 你們從前遠離神的人、如今卻在基督耶穌裡、靠著他的血、已經得親近了。 - 這樣、你們不再作外人、和客旅、是與聖徒同國、是神家裡的人了．

So he got up and went to his father. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. - But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. - Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
