耶穌基督的僕人保羅、奉召為使徒、特派傳神的福音．
你們稱呼我夫子、稱呼我主、你們說的不錯．我本來是。 - 若有人服事我、就當跟從我．我在那裡、服事我的人、也要在那裡．若有人服事我、我父必尊重他。 - 我心裡柔和謙卑、你們當負我的軛、學我的樣式、這樣、你們心裡就必得享安息。因為我的軛是容易的、我的擔子是輕省的。
只是我先前以為與我有益的、我現在因基督都當作有損的。 - 但現今你們既從罪裡得了釋放、作了神的奴僕、就有成聖的果子、那結局就是永生。
以後我不再稱你們為僕人．因僕人不知道主人所作的事．我乃稱你們為朋友．因我從我父所聽見的、已經都告訴你們了。 - 可見、從此以後、你不是奴僕、乃是兒子了．既是兒子、就靠著神為後嗣。
基督釋放了我們、叫我們得以自由、所以要站立得穩、不要再被奴僕的軛挾制。弟兄們、你們蒙召、是要得自由．只是不可將你們的自由當作放縱情慾的機會．總要用愛心互相服事。

Morning Scripture
Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God--
"You call me `Teacher' and `Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. - Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. - But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. - So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature rather, serve one another in love.
